Melody walked around the alley-way, looking around in the shadowie corners for a sighting of her cat, Athena.
"Here, Kitty-Kitty! Athena!" she cried out, moving boxes and trash. Meldoy was turning sixteen tomorrow, and her cat needed to be there.
'Twas evening time in London, and Melody Heart had limited time to be searching for a black cat as the sun's rays departed down the horizion.
"Screw it," she mubbled, moving a strain of dark blonde hair away from her green eyes. Her purple top was dirty and her jeanes were getting stains from the greasy grime.
"What you be looking for, Miss?"
Melody turned sharply around to a young teenage Irish-boy, with light red hair and bright green eyes. He was tall, and handsome, with just a black long sleeve T* and some blue jeanes.
"Oh, Hello. My cat's gone missing." she said, walking closer to the stranger.
He smiled and laughed, "So that be why you crying out kitty-kitty, yeh? Well, I'll help you look, miss."
With a blush, Melody nodded, and with help, they flipped the alley-way upside down.
In no time at all, Melody found Athena curled up in a ball, asleep on a box lid.
"Thank you, Sir."Melody said to her compain, holding her cat in her arms.
The stranger winked, "Name's Skylar, Miss. Skylar O'Conner."
The redness returned to her face as Melody responed, "Melody Heart, Please to meet you, Skylar."
They shook hands briefly, for Melody pressured, "I must go now, Skylar. Thanks again for helping me."
Skylar pulled out a small card from his pocket, saying, "Here. This be me cell number. If something gets lost again," he winked, laughed. and handed the card to her, " Just give a quick call, yeh?"
Nodding, Melody turned around and ran out the alley, unsure of what just happened.
The next day at school, Melody sat in her English class, twirling her pencil in her hair. Today was her birthday, and she really didn't want to be here. The teacher just talked on and on, when suddenly, the door opened to the classroom.
Skylar from the alley walked in, with a curly white haired girl behind him.
She was almost as tall as him, with icey-blue eyes and pale skin.
"Can I help you?" asked the teacher, fear running across her words.
Skylar laughed, " Might be a lock of trouble with ya, Miss, though me and my sister, I think, are in your class. We are new transfers, ya see, from Dublin, Ireland."
Melody was listening very attentively, curious.
Her stareing, though, was sensed by the white haired girl, who turned her head at Melody and smiled.
Without a word, she walked over to Melody and sat down at the empty seat next to her.
"Good morning to ya, Miss. My name is Aura O'Conner. Me brother had a service with ya yesterday, I wager? He's been talking about you all day." Aura said with a smile, putting her hand to rest her chin.
Eyes wide now, Melody replied, " I'm Melody Heart, and yes, I meet your brother yesterday. He helped me find my cat."
Aura nodded, "Aye, he told me. Won't stop blabbing his mouth about the prettiest girl his ever met, you see. Thinks it's you, Melody."
She shrugged, "Don't know why, 'cause he only met you yesterday."
Skylar walked over to Aura and whispered something in her ear, then sat behind her in a desk.
"Morning, Melody. How's your cat?" He casually questioned.
"NO TALKING!" yelled the teacher, quieting the three for later.
After school, Melody began her normal walk home. Sighing deeply, Melody wanted to hurry and get this stupid uniform off.
"Hey, Mel!"
Aura rushed in front of Melody from behind, and stopped, "Would you like some company on your way home?"
Melody pondered, and immendently nodded,"Sure, Why not? But what about your brother? Wouldn't he be-"
"So you do care, Melody, heh?" Skylar remarked, causing Melody to jump from shock.
Exclaiming, "Do you always have to sneak up on me?!" Melody then began to walk forward.
Her new friends followed, talking to eachother.
Melody arrived home with Aura and Skylar, and when she entered the house, only silence greeted her arrival.
"Where's your Mum and Dad, Mel?" Aura asked, gazing around the massive 2-storie house.
